Ayer falleció el gran Frank Frazetta, una gigante, maestro y padre de las ilustraciones fantásticas modernas. En Mice Templar: Destiny #7 hice un pequeño tributo a una de sus más famosas ilustraciones, y Mike lo hizo de nuevo en la portada del 8. Era solo un modesto "gracias". Por suwerte, seguimos teniendo su arte.

Yesterday the great Frank Frazetta passed away, a giant, master and father of the modern fantasy illustrations. In Mice Templar: Destiny #7 I did a little tribute to one of his most famous illustrations, and Mike did it again in the issue 8 cover. Just a modest "thank you". Luckyly, we still having his art.

POSTAL DE LOS REYES ELFOS
LOS REYES ELFOS POSTCARD

Con motivo del Saló del comic de Barcelona, Jose Antonio Serrano ha editado un set de edición limitada de once postales sobre comics españoles. Una de ellas está dedicada a Los Reyes Elfos e hice una ilustración inéditada.
On the occasion of the Barcelona comic convention, Jose Antonio Serrano has edited a limited edition set of eleven postcards about spanish comic-books. One of them is dedicated to Los Reyes Elfos (The Elf Kings) and I made an original illustration.

Esta era la primera combinación de colores. Me gusta, pero si no conoces la serie puedes pensar que los elfos de mi libro tienen la piel azul como en Avatar...
This was the first combination of colors. I like it, but if you don´t know the series you´ll think elves in my book are blue-skinned like in Avatar...

El arte final. El tema de esta ilustración es una historia corta escrita por Mark Buckingham como guionista invitado (esta historia aparecerá en el próximo Historias de Faerie vol. 3).
The final art. The theme of the ilustration is a short story with Mark Buckingham as guest writter (this story will appear in the oncoming Tales from Faerie vol. 3).
